The history of the Dragon extends back into the mists of time. They existed long before the written word started documenting the legends of the Dragon. One of the fascinating things about the Dragon is the variety and diversity of different Dragon legends that exist in so many disparate cultures around the world. We do not have to simply look at the medieval period with its ignorant dragonslayers, but way back - to ancient China, to ancient Europe and perhaps to the beginning of the world itself.
There is a great deal to be said about Dragons and I will be expanding this section considerably over the next years.
