Vampires. Creatures of the night. Nosferatu and his minions. Count Dracula. Where does the legend of the vampire originate? Who was the real Count - the fictional creation of Bram Stoker? ... or Vlad the Impaler (who was only a small part of the inspiration, but was not actually a vampire or a count).

Actually the legend of the vampire stretches back centuries into the distant past of ancient Europe. But is it just a legend? Hmmm...

I will explore all of the above trails, but unlike Van Helsing, I will not be risking my own life to expose the full truth of vampirism...
